Not really, happens all the time in anime, classic examples being Naruto and Bleach. ID just isn't going to make filler to make up time.

I want to say thanks guys so much for Subbing Initial D and representing the Midwest! On the other hand I'm guessing that Initial D will start a new series of Initial D called "Final Stage" later down the road. I was wondering if you guys are going to be doing that as well at the final movie of Initial D.
