The computer I played it on and am typing from doesn't have the font "QlassikBold_TB.otf" installed and I got the picture I posted with the correct look. Make sure your player settings allow the fonts installed in the mkv file to be used.

Fonts for those who can't get the embedded fonts in the mkv to work.

How can that be done for MPC-HC or The KMPlayer?

Try "view" and "options". The funny part is, I've never had the problem. But I did notice that you have an old MPC version. Update please. That might clear up the problem. I'm running the latest version 2013-08-01.

I've solved the problem by updating Haali Media Splitter from version 1.11.96.14 to 1.13.138.14

Sometimes people do things in their options that mess up other things, it was a thought.

The current CCCP and all the ones this year worked fine with my subtitles so a simple CCCP update would have solved the issue as well.
