Registered to say thanks! I have been collecting and watching the bluray releases, with huge gaps in my understanding (I can only follow a word here and there in Japanese). Then I watch the fansubs later and it's like "oh! that's what's going on there!!" Sometimes it completely changes what I thought was happening ;) And then when I rewatch, I watch the fansubs :) I am enjoying the rhythm of watching the 10min teaser on YouTube before the cinema release, then usually read an english synopsis some time after the cinema release, then watch the bluray when it's shipped here, then the fansubs when they're ready and I check for them (which is only every week or 2). Then a few more weeks later it's time for the next teaser :) Works for me!!

The 2199 blurays had english subs. For whatever reason, 2202 doesn't. I think there's some english dubbing/subbing(?) happening on crunchyroll or something? I've not looked, I'm not sure how open that is anyway. Here in Australia most anime is distributed by Madman or on their AnimeLab streaming service and yamato hasn't shown up there. Nor on Australian Netflix, which has a selection of anime too.

Thank you for filling the gap and allowing me to enjoy more of the show!

Finalizing the scripts Monday night. Still waiting for the song translation however. So I might be slightly delayed if I don't get it tonight or tomorrow.

Hey speaking of, I commissioned translations for all the 2202 ED songs (that have come out so far) from "kafka-fuura" and if you want to then feel free to use them as longa as you credit her!
