Macross 7 Plus & Commercials

Missing in the new softsubbed mkvs compared to the old hardsubbed avis:
Dynamite 1-4 -> "Emotion" logo before start (boring)
Dynamite 1-2&4 -> music album adverts at end (just some - more or less - boring text)
Encore 1 -> Ads at end (e.g. for Macross Plus Vol.2)
Encore 2 -> Ads
Movie -> Ads at the end (e.g. for Macross Plus English version and a short scene with the singer of Mylene)
FOTS -> some text at the beginning ("Unbroadcast TV Episode - Fleet of the Strongest Women") + 2 pics at end


As for normal eps of the tv series (usually length is lower than/around at 25min and if it was higher there was more):
Macross 7 PLUS (GMM as single file and then at the end of 08, 12, 16, 24, 32, 36, 40, 44, 47)
Special Presentation (live convert scene at end of 28)


New in the mkvs:
* Better quality and softsubbed (therefore higher size)
* Being incomplete in a way (see above)
* Some untranslated text notes at the end of some eps

TV-Japan released some raws and they also once were linked here.
Not sure if the links would be dead now anyway, so 'nother source: macrosshare*com/2008/04/series-macross-7-remastered*html.
If I'm not mistaken, then TV-Japan's Macross 7 commercial raw doesn't replace all the commercials from the old avis of Macross 7 OVAs (Dynamite, Encore) and the movie.

Not sure what you are trying to say in this post.

The source for my mkv remasters was the DVDs. I have most of the Mac7+ shorts done but haven't uploaded them. On the original LD versions the commercials were on the LD and the "Plus" omakes were at the end of each LD. On the DVDs there is a separate DVD for the commercials and the "plus" shorts were also on a separate DVD from the episodes. When I encoded the remasters I went with the new DVD format.

So, what are you asking in the post of yours?

Well, I don't that either.
I guess, I just wanted to mention Macross 7 Plus and the old commercials, 'cause at the moment the old avis wouldn't be completely obsolete.
Though in an unofficial way at least the old Episodes with Macross 7 Plus at the end would be, 'cause:
a) once someone used VirtualDub and cutted Macross 7 Plus out of the episodes, so just had the Plus episodes and shared them (upload was on mu - down now)
b) there are raws + lousy rips (etc.; .ass).

So, what are you asking in the post of yours?

For nothing; as I know, that questions like "When comes the next episode?"/ "Will you sub X?" are usually unwanted (for imho obvious reasons).
