Central Anime weekly meetings

Postby Heibi2 » March 12th, 2012, 8:32 pm

If you are in the Wichita, Kansas area, are thinking of coming here, or live somewhere nearby, we hold meetings every Saturday starting at 2pm and ending around midnight. No fee to attend. We sit and watch anime, old and new(current season or ongoing series). Just PM me if you are interested.

Off topic, but how is the area up there? I heard you guys had some tornadoes come through the area this past weekend.

We're okay. The track of one of the tornadoes went near here. All of the Central Anime group were down in the basement as it went through. Lost power briefly. My house sustained no damage and only a few limbs from trees fell in my yard. One of my group had an open window on her house get ripped off the house due to winds, plus losing her fence, damage to her roof, and some posts under her back porch coming out. And to top that off, she doesn't carry any insurance because she has the house paid off and doesn't/didn't want to waste her money. I'm trying to get her to realize how stupid that is. Not even fire insurance.

The area itself had damage all over, downed power lines, limbs and many damaged structures. They estimated over 258 million in damage.

Good to hear that everyone in the circle is at least safe. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.
